Golden Beach, or Chryssi Akti, is the largest and one of the most popular beaches on Paros, renowned for its golden sand and crystal clear, shallow waters. It is an international destination for watersports, particularly windsurfing, due to the excellent wind conditions on the island's southeastern side.

Chryssi Akti, which is Greek for Golden Beach, is a long golden sandy bay extending for 700 meters. Its fine sand, gentle slope, and relatively shallow water make it ideal for families with young children and casual swimmers. The beach is a mecca for water sports enthusiasts, featuring facilities and clubs for windsurfing, diving, kayaking, and more. It is so well known for windsurfing that it used to host the PWA (Professional Windsurfers Association) World Championship. The beach is easily accessible by car and is a fully organized destination with sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars, and restaurants. Nearby, New Golden Beach (Tserdakia) offers similar conditions but with stronger winds, making it ideal for more advanced windsurfers.
